At Birmingham Menopause Clinic, our specialists are fully accredited by the British Menopause Society (BMS) with advanced training in menopause care. Our specialists  also practice at Birmingham Women’s Hospital and University Hospitals Birmingham Solihull NHS trusts. We strictly adhere to BMS guidelines to ensure safe and effective HRT treatment.

HRT, when prescribed within national guidelines, generally offers more benefits than risks. Regular reviews, at least annually, are recommended to ensure your treatment remains appropriate.

In certain cases, such as Premature Ovarian Insufficiency (POI), higher-than-licensed doses of HRT may be necessary, but only under the supervision of a BMS-accredited menopause specialist.
